Isabel Marant - Women's and Men's Spring/Summer 2019 Collection in Paris (with interview)

Designer: Isabel MarantCollection: Disco girls… The designer was inspired by the late 70s, a period during which discos gave way to other types of music and clothing… For the occasion, a tent situated in Jardin des Tuileries was decorated with silver curtains and disco balls to equally celebrate the launch of her new make-up line in collaboration with L’Oréal…Collection: Urban and festive, summery and sensual… with short all-in-one-suits, silver dresses and an asymmetric top with its bra version worn with high waisted trousers. High waisted shorts are also a must have, as well as her sleeveless jackets with enhanced shoulders complete with big openings under the arms, in a white denim version by Natasha Poly as well as a faded version.For men, we see jumpsuits and sparkling shirts in the spotlight.Notes: suede pleated thigh boots + the presence of Kaia Gerber, Anna Ewers and Natasha Poly amongst others+ the party that followed to celebrate the launch of Isabel Marant’s new make-up line with L’Oréal.Interview :Isabel Marant : The idea came from the period which saw the of end disco and the start of hip-hop, Studio 54 where all these movements mix, this eclecticism, this lack of concern, this love of life, and so I desired to create a happy, fresh, glamourous and also cool collection.Music from the show (for use only in context of the show, under cover of the right to information).
